About this candidate
As a child I avoided mentioning where I was from, to deter harassment, with age that changed. Winning the title will help me reconnect with a part of me that I had lost. It will help me heal my younger self. But most importantly it will allow future generations to see the impact’s we have made and hopefully one day they wouldn't be scared to say where they are from.
